Inquiring to confirm which organizations use social media? If so, which social media platforms do you use? Is the social media intended for general information on the organization or do you have specific pages directed at physician recruitment? Or recruitment in general to your organization?

Hi Shannon,

The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region has general Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter pages. Our Practitioner Staff Affairs department has its own separate Twitter page that we mostly use to announce our new physician arrivals and communicate with the University of Saskatchewan medical residents/students. Hi Shannon,
Kawartha Lakes Health Care Initiative has a website (www.kawarthalakesdoctors.org) and a Facebook page. I use the Facebook page to post local events and community interest information for any potential recruits looking at, any activities that we are attending (job fairs) or hosting (recruitment weekends), and of course announcing new recruits.
