Compensation Grid Compensation range is between Level 1 $416,192 per annum to Level 3 $531,341 per annum. Incentives/Benefits The total service days requirement is 210 service days per annum. The Oncologists are eligible for Additional Workload Compensation during the position vacancies in Cancer Care Alberta. CCA provides a recruitment support incentive that includes the following conditional on leadership approval: 1. Relocation Support: up to $18,500 for recruits within North America and up to $25,000 for recruits outside North America. 2. AHS Sponsorship Support if required. 3. Immigration (work permit visa support) if required. 4. Strategic recruitment Incentive. The Practitioner is responsible for purchasing health and insurance benefits. CAD / Year

Alberta Health Services

The Department of Oncology, Cancer Care Alberta, Alberta Health Services, Community Oncology invite applications for a full-time clinician within the discipline of Hematology and Hematological Malignancies. The successful applicant will become a member of a multidisciplinary cancer program located at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and will join a team of Medical and Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners and medical support staff working in the North Zone.

This position is based at the Grande Prairie Cancer Centre, Grande Prairie, AB and will provide malignant hematology services as part of the malignant hematology group service commitment to the patients of the North Zone.

Responsibilities will include participation in ambulatory clinics and other responsibilities will include participation in local and provincial tumour team-based activities including clinical case reviews at tumour board rounds, annual, provincial tumour team meetings and local quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include an MD and eligibility for Hematologist licensure in the Province of Alberta.
