The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity to practice full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology in a supportive, rural community setting with access to modern resources and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

Full access to outpatient clinic space and dedicated clinical staff
A state-of-the-art operating room supporting gynecologic surgical procedures
Participation in primary and consultative obstetrics care, gynecologic surgery, and emergency department consultation
A well-established Prenatal and Ambulatory Clinic providing comprehensive outpatient services to patients throughout their pregnancy journey

Clinical Practice Environment

You will join a highly collaborative and experienced care team that includes:

Family physicians (13) and GP anesthetists (3)
General Surgeons (3)
Huron County Midwives
Nurse Practitioners
Skilled nursing and allied health professionals
AMGH provides comprehensive obstetrical care across the full continuum—from antenatal and intrapartum care through to postpartum and newborn services—ensuring a broad and rewarding clinical practice.

Qualifications

Royal College certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Independent licensure (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
Commitment to rural medicine and collaborative care
