Internal Medicine Physician Opportunity – Owen Sound Hospital
About Brightshores Health System
Brightshores Health System is a six-hospital network serving more than 170,000 residents and 2 million annual visitors in Grey Bruce. Our Owen Sound Hospital is the regional referral centre, offering Level 2/3 Critical Care Units (ICU, CCU, Step-Down), 24/7 diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, PACS, labs), and comprehensive specialty support. Brightshores combines the scope and sophistication of a regional centre with the collaboration and flexibility of community medicine, and has strong academic ties with Western University and McMaster University.
Thriving rural hospitals in Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Southampton, and Wiarton extend care across the region, ensuring seamless access and integration. This system-wide collaboration allows for both high-acuity tertiary-level care and a strong rural health focus.
