The City of Woodstock is a rapidly growing community with the need for new Family Physicians. Join either of 2 FHO’s in Woodstock (one with 12 FP’s, the other with 8), with optional in-patient care.

-Team-based care provided via the Thames Valley FHT.

-Accuro or Practice Solutions EMR depending on FHO you choose to join.

-The City of Woodstock provides a moving allowance, support with immigration & licensure, and a forgivable loan program.

Woodstock Hospital is a new (2011), state-of-the-art, 178 bed capacity, full-service community hospital. Serving Woodstock and the surrounding area in Oxford County, the hospital has over 50,000 ED visits per year, and approximately 1200 births. Opportunities are available for inpatient care, OR assist, and newborn coverage if interested (but not required). Optional ER shifts may also be available in Woodstock or smaller surrounding communities.

Woodstock is known as ‘The Friendly City’. It’s a rapidly growing community of just over 47,000 diverse residents. Woodstock combines small town charm with urban amenities. Along with effortless commutes, Woodstock offers affordable housing and excellent schools. The over 350 hectares of parks and trails, recreational facilities, as well as a strong sense of community, make Woodstock a great place to live and raise a family.

Woodstock has convenient highway access and is easily commutable from London, Kitchener-Waterloo, Brantford, or Hamilton. Woodstock is also home to a campus of Fanshawe College and there are 5 major Universities within a one hour drive. While Toronto Pearson International Airport is only 1.25 hours away, Woodstock has even more convenient access to International airports in London, Hamilton, and Waterloo.
