Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a General Practitioner (Family Medicine) to join a full-time, rewarding practice in the stunning mountain community of Banff, Alberta. This unique role offers a diverse and engaging scope of practice across multiple care settings.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive Family Medicine services and participate in shift coverage and on-call duties at Banff Mineral Springs Hospital.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
• Required Experience & Credentials
• Recent experience in independent Family Medicine practice
• Proven ability as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP) across a broad patient population
• Experience in both inpatient and community/private practice settings

Preferred Credentials

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

This position is Fee for Service.  The average gross income of a Family Medicine Physician in Alberta is $380,522.00 CAD. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee-for-service model.
