Two-week locum opportunity in Stoney Creek, ON

A solo FHO/FHT family practice in a bright and clean location in Stoney Creek is seeking locum coverage for two weeks, July 14-25, 2025. Ideal coverage will be at least three days per week. Office hours are 9:00-5:00PM, although closed between 12:00-1:30PM for lunch.

The successful candidate would be caring for a roster of approximately 1,500 patients and can expect to see between 20 – 23 patients per day.

As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team, this practice is well supported by a variety of Allied Health Professionals including part-time support from an RN, Clinical Pharmacist, Mental Health Counsellor, and Registered Dietitian. The practice also receives Psychiatry support through the Hamilton Family Health Team. Administrative support is provided by 2 receptionists and an office assistant who handle all billings, appointment bookings, and referrals.

The office is fully computerized with Mac computers and Telus PS Suite EMR. The locum physician will have access to 3 exam rooms (+ 1 room for the RN) and an office. The practice is located within the same building as a pharmacy, lab, x-ray, and ultrasound facilities, and parking is free for staff.

The candidate can expect to receive a daily stipend as well as 100% of non-insured services.
