The Opportunity
Our vascular surgery team is looking to expand our group beginning in 2025 as early as March 2025 but no later
than September 2025. Peterborough Regional Health Centre is a Level 2 regional vascular centre offering a full
range of vascular surgical treatment options, including Endovascular repair surgery. This collegial team of four (4) vascular surgeons encourages personal development and growth. The following surgical specialties are represented in Peterborough: General Surgery, Gynecology, Ear Nose and Throat, Vascular, Orthopedics, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Maxillary facial/Dental and Urology
Position Qualifications
• Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). A clear and viable pathway to licensure must be established at the time of application.
• Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) or equivalent training (e.g., American Board Certification) and eligible for RCPSC assessment.
• Experience in Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) and other percutaneous endovascular techniques required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with physicians, nursing, staff, patients, directors,
managers, and the community as required
• Demonstrated analytical ability
• Actively encourage a spirit of co-operation amongst team members
• Eligible for staff privileges at Peterborough Regional Health Centre
• Evidence of ongoing continued medical education
