As an Otolaryngologist you will provide clinical, emergency, limited on-call coverage, outpatient, and inpatient services at Stanton Territorial Hospital (Stanton) in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. You will be a part of our knowledgeable and supportive unit. Our ENTs also provide regular travel clinics throughout the Northwest Territories and the western portion of Nunavut. Our ENTs find this opportunity to experience the indigenous cultures and landscapes of the North very rewarding. Call responsibilities are shared among surgeons, typically with a 1:4 on-call ratio.

Salaries start at $533,547 – $583,098 including benefits, plus bonuses of $25,000 – $100,000 including benefits. Our graduate physicians are also typically eligible for student loan forgiveness through Canada’s Loan Forgiveness program.

Typically, these positions require Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Fellowship in General Surgery or equivalent certification and must be eligible for licensure to practice in the NWT.
