Job Description:

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking Pediatrician locum support in the community of Swift Current. Responsibilities include 24-hour inpatient hospital coverage and emergency on-call duties.

July 9 (0800) – July 17 (0800)
July 29 (0800) – August 1 (0800)
August 11 (0800) – August 14 (0800)
August 21 (0800) – August 26 (0800)
August 29 (0800) – September 4 (0800)
September 17 (0800) – September 24 (0800)

Remuneration:
Daily Rate: $2,276.68 per 24-hour period
Emergency Call: In addition to the daily rate, the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program (SECP) stipend applies in accordance with program terms

Additional Support:
Accommodation: Provided, if required
Mileage: $0.5499/km (one return trip per locum assignment)
Travel Time: $20/hour (one return trip per locum assignment)

Job Qualifications:

Regular License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)(or eligible to be licensed)
Valid driver’s license
Successful SHA credentialing including but notlimited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
Legal entitlement to work in Canada
