We are seeking two full time family physicians to work in an exciting, innovative practice which will provide health services to the communities of Unity and surrounding areas. This model includes coverage for the Unity and District Health Centre, which provides acute care and 24 hour emergency services. This Physician will work closely with nurses, and other members of the health care team to meet the specific needs of this community and its surrounding area. The successful applicant will be required to participate in a 1:5 call rotation.
Physician will also receive ERCP stipend. Services will include: clinic, hospital, on call, long-term care and other duties as assigned.
Beds: 10 Acute Care, 32 Long Term Care, 3 Alternate level of care – total 45 beds.

Dietitian, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Room 24/7, Home Care, Lab, Long Term Care, Mental Health Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Outpatient Procedures, Parent Mentor Program, Physicians, Physiotherapy.
Dental Health Educator *, Diabetes Nurse Educator *,Podiatry *,Psych Rehab, Public Health Inspection, Public Health Nurse, Telehealth, Ultrasound *, Youth Outreach *

*Some services are visiting specialists that may not be offered every day.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is dedicated to learning and is a partner in the growing educational needs of medical students and residents from the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan.
Qualified applicant must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan and have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.
This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
To be eligible you must hold certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) or have successfully completed SIPPA and be eligible for a license to practice family medicine in Saskatchewan.
The successful applicant is expected to participate in the undergraduate, postgraduate, and continuing medical education programs of the Department of Medicine in the North West Area.
