{"id":3133,"date":"2016-10-30T15:19:46","date_gmt":"2016-10-30T15:19:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/caspr.ca\/staging\/?page_id=3133"},"modified":"2025-02-22T10:35:13","modified_gmt":"2025-02-22T15:35:13","slug":"caspr-members-large","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/caspr.ca\/staging\/about-caspr\/board-directors-staff\/caspr-members-large\/","title":{"rendered":"CASPR Members at Large"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1>CASPR Members at Large<\/h1>\n<h3>ROLE OF THE CASPR MEMBERS AT LARGE<\/h3>\n<p>Members at Large serve as a voting member of the Executive Board.\u00a0Subject to the direction of the Board, the Members at Large will assist with the business of the Association and engage in committee\u00a0or project\u00a0work at the executive level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand and promote themission\u00a0of CASPR<\/li>\n<li>Attend and actively participate in CASPR Executive meetings, including leadership development\u00a0and strategic planning meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Review agenda and supporting documents prior toExecutive\u00a0meetings<\/li>\n<li>AttendCASPR\u2019s Annual General Meeting<\/li>\n<li>Make every effort to attendthe\u00a0annual CASPR Conference<\/li>\n<li>Serve as representatives of the general CASPR membership<\/li>\n<li>Note: A Member at Large may be appointed to support a specific priority project of the Executive. Accordingly, s\/he will serve as a representative of the project and its goals and objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Support CASPR standing committeesand contribute to advancing priority projects of the Executive:<\/li>\n<li>One (1) Member at Large must sit onthe\u00a0Communications Committee<\/li>\n<li>One (1) Member at Large must sit onthe\u00a0Education Committee<\/li>\n<li>Annually participate in the Nominating Committee which is struck in February to fill vacancies on the board.
