Recognizing Doctors at Christmas/Holiday Season

Curious to know how you recognize your Docs over the holiday season. Pre-Covid we would hold a holiday open house and invite them and their spouses to a drop in cocktail party. Not sure we can go back to in-person this year again, and wondering if anyone has done a “virtual” type party and what that entailed? Email me if you wish pmason@docsbythebay.ca

Hi Paula, we do not do anything at Christmas as in October we host the Physician Appreciation Day. That said, every year the Physician Team organize their own Christmas Party which our office manages the invitation and payments for the Physician Committee. This year though is the first year that our Chalmers Foundation is partnering with this Physician Committee for their Christmas Party.

Hi Paula - we have normally only sent Christmas cards to the docs and their staff. This year, we have created a more neutral Thank You card instead in recognition that not all of our doctors celebrate Christmas.

Hi Paula We typically have a holiday lunch for our committee, Clinic Directors\Exectuive Directors and new family physicians. Typically about 30 - 35 people. We are doing an in-person lunch at a local restaurant again this year. There are other events throughout the year that all physicians get an invitation to.
