CaSPR Announces 2026 Award Recipients Honouring Excellence in Physician Recruitment

Charlottetown, PEI – May 5, 2026 — The Canadian Society of Physician Recruitment (CaSPR) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 national awards, recognizing outstanding contributions and leadership in physician recruitment across Canada.

Each recipient was nominated by a peer in recognition of the meaningful and lasting impact they have made within their communities and the profession. These awards celebrate individuals who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and dedication to strengthening healthcare through recruitment.

2026 CaSPR Award Recipients:

  • Rebecca Cassidy (Nova Scotia Health, NS) — Recruiter Recognition Award
    • Honouring exceptional performance and commitment to physician recruitment.
  • Erika Ingebrigtson (All Nations Health Partners, ON) — Chuck Schmitt Rural Impact Award
    • Recognizing significant contributions on rural health in their community.
  • Donna Gravelle (Doctors 4 Cambridge, ON) — Lifetime Achievement Award
    • Celebrating a distinguished career and enduring impact on the field of physician recruitment.
  • Melanie Delion (Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital, ON) — Leadership Award
    • Acknowledging exemplary leadership and influence within the profession of recruitment.

The awards were presented at the 2026 CaSPR Conference in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
