Chantelle Shervill

Chantelle Shervill is the Manager of Medical Affairs at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care. Chantelle is a BA Graduate from the University of Western Ontario and holds a Diploma in Health Care Management from the Ontario Hospital Association. She has been a proud member and Fellow of the Canadian Association of Staff Physician Recruiters since 2014, and currently sits on the CASPR Board as Executive Chair of the education committee. Chantelle moved to the hospital sector after a long career in sales, marketing, and customer service training to fulfill her desire to help people. In addition to managing Consent and Capacity Board liaison staff, Dental, Electro Convulsive Therapy, and Clinical Contract services at Waypoint, her portfolio also includes the coordination of Rural Ontario Medical Program Medical clerks and Residents at the facility and the recruitment and retention of all Psychiatrists and General Practitioners. She believes that by recruiting the best of the best, and creating a strong retention strategy at Waypoint, she can have a tangible impact on positive patient outcomes. Personally, Chantelle lives in beautiful Tiny Township with her husband Ryan, two daughters and two crazy Labrador retrievers. In her spare time she continues her Human Resource studies through McMaster University, is a runner and tri-athlete and thoroughly enjoys all of the outdoor activities that the Midland and Penetanguishene area have to offer.

David Gravelle

David Gravelle has been the Family Physician Recruitment Officer for the Southern Georgian Bay area since 2006 and the Physician Recruiter for Georgian Bay General Hospital since 2008. Here is some more information about David you may or may not know. He is originally from Penetanguishene - He is a former TV News Reporter for CKCO-TV - Kitchener.

Denise Coulombe

Denise Coulombe, native of Gaspé, Québec, moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick in 2000 after having lived in several cities in New Brunswick as well as Quebec. She studied French Theatre and languages at “Université de Moncton” and St Thomas University and began to work at the Regional Health Authority in 2003 as the Official Languages Coordinator. Her desire for helping people led her to her current position as the Physician Recruitment Officer, which she has held since 2009. She is an avid animal lover or as she says, “fur babies” and a lover of life. Denise is very passionate about her job and has become a guru when it comes to physician site visits and selling her region to the incoming physicians. Her passion for her work radiates throughout the community.

Bryan Maclean

Bryan MacLean began recruiting physicians in 1999 when he was asked by Dalhousie University to help find physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers to attend to Kosovo war refugees as they began landing in Nova Scotia. He then worked for a private-sector physician recruiting organization to help create and operationalize a system for contracting civilian physicians and healthcare workers on military bases in Atlantic Canada. He also pushed for the initial phases of a national program that links military families with family physicians, no matter where they are posted in Canada. Bryan was employed in Newfoundland as both the provincial recruiter, and the Eastern Health Region physician recruiter, simultaneously. He has worked on contract with medical schools and medical school Deans in five provinces, as well as spending more than a decade as a recruitment advisor to resident physicians all across Canada through CAIR (now RDoCs)and PARI-MP.
