Cancellation/Refund Policy – 2020 Conference


Dear Members,

On behalf of the CASPR Conference Co-Chairs and Board of Directors, I am sorry to have to advise that this year’s CASPR Conference has been cancelled.

The delay in advising you is due to negotiations that were undertaken with the hotel.  We all can understand that they are under tremendous pressures due to many cancellations so it took longer than we expected.  We are happy to advise that the 2021 Conference will be held in Toronto at the Novotel Hotel as planned for this year (date to be advised by the end of 2020).  We are also pleased that our Conference Co-Chairs, Paula Mason and Cindy Snider, have agreed to remain in their positions in order to bring us the 2021 Conference.

For any members that have already registered, please advise our Treasurer; Brenna Pugliese, at if you require a reimbursement or you prefer to have your registration stand for 2021.

CASPR’s reimbursement policy is as follows:  a $25 administration fee will apply to a Conference registration; a $10 administration fee will apply to a Fellowship registration; a $10 administration fee will apply to a Professional Development registration.   A reminder to all members to cancel any hotel reservations they may have made.

We will be hosting a virtual Annual General Meeting in the coming weeks (details to follow very soon) as we are still required, by law, to hold the meeting. Information will be sent very soon in regards to holding CASPR’s Annual General Meeting via internet as we are still required, by law, to hold the meeting.
