Hello, I was just seeing who uses facebook, twitter, etc for marketing purposes. Was this a good form of marketing for your organization? Do physicians follow your page? Any concerns regarding privacy etc?

We used linked in and twitter both here on PEI. I was able to get a locum on linked in but other than that, not so sure that we have recruited people through these methods. However, it does get the message out. We have alot of followers on our twitter account. Sheila MacLean, PEI Marked as spam

There is some information regarding social media use that you may find helpful in the 2013 Benchmark Survey Report (stats) – http://caspr.ca/resources/benchmark-survey/ In my experience, physicians/residents are on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook (they tend to be more active on Twitter and LinkedIn when compared to Facebook).
